The Teledyne ML®661 is a complete engineered CEMS designed to measure total hydrocarbons (THC/VOC) as required in environmental regulatory compliance and process control applications.  Please consult our factory for more information on this product.

 Description

The Teledyne ML®661 THC system uses a conventional extractive system design to extract and condition hot, wet stack gas for a dry basis measurement using our sensor-e® THC analyzer, and Zirconium Oxide O2 Sensor.  This system can be configured specifically for 40CFR60/63 emission compliance, and process control applications.  Similar to the extractive system, the Teledyne ML®661 is also engineered to provide a modular and cost effective solution for source monitoring while still allowing for client customization.  An open architecture design is used for easy maintenance.  Specialized equipment can be added for hazardous area classification requirements.

 Features

  • EPA certifiable for all 40 CFR 60 and 40 CFR 63 applications including BIF (boilers and industrial furnaces burning hazardous material) applications (40CFR266, Appendix IX, Section 2), and 40CFR503, subpart E sludge burner applications.
  • Well suited to generate reliable and accurate process control information.  Typical applications include cement kilns, industrial sources, and power boilers.
  • State of the art TML T-Series® analyzers are utilized for pollutant monitoring.  This allows a single source for system as well as analyzer support.  Optional speciated hydrocarbon measurements.
  • Automatic, local and  remote initiation of any system sequence is available. This includes the ability to zero and span a single analyzer both through the entire sampling train or directly at the analyzer to diagnose sampling system anomalies.
  • Minimal maintenance is required. Weekly manual calibrations, quarterly probe checks, and quarterly filter changes are typically all the system requires to achieve uptime of 95% or greater, and
  • Self-diagnosing alarm package.  The ML®661 will alarm the user for sample train heater failures, air delivery problems, probe and analyzer faults.  This system is smart enough to protect itself during a fatal fault condition ensuring no moisture can contaminate any analyzer.
  • Hazardous area classification model available to meet Class 1, DIV1/2 requirements.
